Cannot read memory address, application errors.

Title Bar: ISIGNUP.EXE -Application Error
The instruction at "0x00100010" referenced memory at
"0x00100010". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate program

I get this type of error with all types of programs, aol, etc.

The above error is me trying to install new dialup conifgurations....
Is this a common error, whats going on here, please help me out!

I get this error, with diff. address with all programs, like aim, etc. what could be the problem...
I really could use some help, as I've always known tek-tips to be very informative.
 
Hello, orbital264.

Internet connection wizard (icw) helper components consist of (icwconn1, icwconn2, icwrmind, inetwiz, isignup, icwtutor) .exe files. So the first thing is to assure permission. Presumably you get adm rights, then the second thing to do is to extract new copy of the helper components after renaming the same to .old.
