hello.i am stuck to really strange problem (for me , at least)
I am trying to install sco 5.07 on a scsi hard disk 147 gb
i did not make any other filesystem and i use all the capacity for the root filesystem
As soon as the installation ends i boot and in simply user i run fsck and get the message
CANNOT READ :BLK 284941050
I reinstalled sco, but i get the same msg. i created a smaller pertition but i got the same msg. The only differed was the number of the block
So, i changed the disk.I used a sata 160 gb. I installed sco and i got again this error msg after i ran fsck
I changed completly the h/w..and still got the same msg (only differed by the block number)
I am really stuck here. Any help will be greatfull
both disks are the same brand(the scsi and the sata)..but i am sure that is not the problem
The problem is that i do something wrong..but what ?
Thank you in advanced
