Booted up and got that message this afternoon. Clicked on "Protect Me" and wennt thru the Update Virus Definition routine. Got an error message stating "Can't update definitions...Please run Live Update." Did that without any problems, rebooted (twice, actually) and still getting same message! Anyone have any ideas?

Running Norton Internet Security/Antivirus 2005 under Windows 98SE.

Resolved this by simply running virus scan although nowhere was the need for this stated by Norton! Wish I'd gone with McAfee years ago! I've only picked up 2 viruses in 14 years with Norton, but I've had bunches of problems with Live Updates and things like this. I'm just afraid that switching to McAfee now and deleting Norton will cause even more problems, and I've got beaucoup programs and 14 years of code on board I could re-install if I had to, but really don't want to have to!
