cannot print in xp. pls help!! (HP Laserjet 6L)

hi there.

i've a HP Laserjet 6L printer but i can't seem to get it to print. i've gone through the troubleshooter already but the problem hasn't been solved yet. can someone pls help. i desperately need to get it to print.

i've never been able to print from this pc using this printer ever since i installed XP Home edition on it. it was able to print when i had win 98 installed.

i've tried connecting another printer too, an epson one, and it could print.

i believe that the hardware is working fine.

what could be the conflict then? is there something wrong with XP?

Have you picked up Windows XP drivers from HP's website? I often have problems with the ones that XP provides, so I tend to go and download the newest ones from the printer's manufacturer.

Also, when you say it doesn't print, do you get any kind of error? Jennifer Sigman
