We have a client who has one work station that has a new problem and cannot print to the laser printer from SBT 5.0. This happened all of a sudden when the laser printer was having paper jam problems (which have since been resolved).

I tried deleting and reinstalling SBT

I tried reinstalling Windows NT 4.0

I tried deleting and reinstalling the laser printer (under Settings/Printers)

I tried signing on with the administrative (supervisory) login and it did the same.

The message appears in a window titled: "Select Print" and the contents say: Error 1: File does not exist. Called from: G_SETPRN Line number 45659. The resulting options are: Ignore, Retry, and Quit - and only Quit is successful.

I would try replacing the 'g_setprn.prg' file located in the main sbt directory with a backup copy.

If you are using an HP printer and using the
PCL 5 or 6 driver the SBT printing system will
error. One thing good about HP Laser Printers,
99% od the black and white lasers work with the
HP LaserJet 4 driver and works with SBT.
