Please help!
In this situation, I'm using a LaserJet 8000 and a 500x JetDirect box (3-port). The printer is connected to the jetdirect box via parallel and the box is connected to a 8-port hub via network cable. The hub is then connected to our network.
The pc is using windows 2000 and is also connected to the network. I created a TCP/IP printer port to print regularly to the 8000 and I have no problems. However, when I try to run a batch file, I receive a "Network path was not found" result.
The batch file reads..
cd "Batch Testing"
cd "Files"
copy/b bid.sbm \\c05036\8000_jd06p1
Port name JD06_P1
Printer name 8000_JD06P1
PC name C05036
Lastly, I try to do the same thing using a regular LPT port and it works fine. Hope someone can help me out.
Thanks.
