I am having trouble with one PC on my network of 250+. When I am on the PC I can ping all other devices including the router. However, other PCs cannot ping the workstation. So, basically workstation A can ping everyone but no one can ping workstation A. DNS is setup properly on the station as well as the firewall is turned off. DNS entries seem correct as well. I am baffled and any ideas as to what is wrong would be appreciated.

The issue started randomly and was initially fixed after a reboot but it seems to have come back.

Please help!

Is this workstation on the same network segment/VLAN as the others? Are u sure you don't have the OS firewall enabled? Do the machines receive IPs from DHCP and this one has a static one... could be a bad default gw setting.

Different domains in the same subnet. Domain A station A and domain B station B. A can ping B but B or any other device on either domain could not ping A. Hope that helps. Both static IPs. Both could ping the gateway.

The only way I could fix the issue was to shut down and keep it off for 5 minutes.
