Hello,
I got a weired issue. While connected to VPN by Cisco VPN Client, I can browse any pages on the Internet, but I cannot ping any address!!! Neither name nor address!
I checked my Firewall (ASA5520) and ACS settings, but could not find anything which blocks the ping.

Any idea?
Thanks,
Mehdi

Pix is somewhat flakey when it comes to ICMP. Some older versions require acl entries for the return traffic. It would be helpful if we could see a formatted copy of your config. Is split tunneling turned on? How is the crypto acl defined? Are you pinging hosts protected by the PIX or internet hosts? Does a capture confirm whether icmp is reaching the egress interface of the PIX if pinging protected hosts? Is Intra-Interface communications defined if pinging internet hosts?

We should probably start with a copy of the config.

Hello Desperado,
Sorry for the delay in my answer.
I actually fixed the issue.
I really appreciate your follow up.
