Hi
I have a number of machines in a domain , but I have 8 in particular that I cannot ping. I can ping other PC's in the domain from them, but cannot ping to them from any other PC. They are showing in AD as members of the domain infact everything seems fine i.e. they can access all domain resources, Iternet, as I said I can ping any other of the domain members from these PC's but I cannot ping any one of them from any other PC. I have tried IPCONFIG/RELEASE/RENEW no change.

Any ideas

Check their windows firewall settings to see that they allow IMCP echo.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Thanks Jimbo that done the trick.
again many thanks
