Cannot PING Novell 5.1 server through VPN connection

A Novell Server 5.1 is connected to a local network using PURE TCP/IP. The system on this network can ping each other.

I connect to this network using a VPN and can ping all other systems in the local network, including windows and unix systems. However the VPN client from outside cannot ping the Netware Server.

Please help with detailed answer.

Have you got the correct gateway (default route) configured on the NetWare server? -----------------------------------------------------

if not default route than a static network route for the VPN network. The VPN network on Netware has it's own address range. Also, ensure tcpip is configured as a router(Intecfg/protocols/tcpip. Lee Smith
