I can ping all other IP related components of my two networked CS1Ks (VGMCs, sig servers, etc) but can't ping the call servers of either PBX. They are at rls 5.5. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Absolutely no reason you shouldn't be able to ping the ELAN of the Call Servers unless it is a network issue.

It could be that your network team has your ELANs protected via Access Control List (ACL) (or via subnet) - sometimes PING is restricted as I just learned when trying to ping DNS servers. You should at least be able to ping the TLAN so I would try that versus pinging the ELAN. You can also try to ping the Node IP which is what your S1 should be set to on your IP phones. Yes, you should be able to ping your MGCs and SigServers so that seems fine.

since CALL SERVERS are only on the ELAN then maybe your are pinging the CLAN / TLAN ip addresses of the other components. and if you tried to ping the ELAN of the VGMC and Sig server it would fail also.....?

or gateway setting is messed up if the ELAN is routed.
