Cannot ping hostname

Hello,
Created trust between 2 domaines
From domain A cannot ping "servernameB" on domain B but "servernameB.domainB.xyz" and IP address.
From domain B I can Ping "servernameA", "servernameB.domainA.xyz" and IP address.
Any idea ?

Have you checked your DNS config?

Do you have DNS Suffix Search lists configured>? These help to resolve hostnames between multiple domains
