Cannot paste image directly into body of email - how do I? 1

Hi!

I'm trying to paste an image (jpg) directly into the message body of an email, but whatever I have tried so far has failed.

I have version 5 of ACT.

Pasting a jpg works in Outlook though.........I just can't figure this one out.

Anyone have a solution?

Are you trying to paste into an open email in the ACT! email client?

Or are you trying to paste into a template?

I assume you're using the ACT! email client then...

It's been about 6 years since I've worked on ACT! 5.0 and I'm not sure if it was possible to past JPGs into the body of an open email.

I know theree was an issue with graphics in the layouts, so maybe it was the same in the email client... in the layout editor, you could only paste pretty small graphics and restrictions in the numbers of colours.

Why not attach the graphic?
