On my Windows 2003 R2 Standard (32bit) server, when I try to overwrite the default profile, it fails since it cannot delete the entire profile.
It leaves these 3 files, that are apparently in use:
C:\Documents and Settings\default user\Cookies\index.dat
C:\Documents and Settings\default user\Local Settings\History\History.IE5\index.dat
C:\Documents and Settings\default user\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\index.dat
This happened once or twice before on this server and a reboot fixed it. Not this time, 3 reboots later and I still cannot make a new default profile.
Anyone run into this? I have tried putting a .bat file in the HKLM RunOnce regkey to delete them, but it failed (files in use).
Thanks,
Andrew
