Just installed full version Acrobat 5.0. Did only have Acrobat 4.0 reader.
I can convert files with Acrobat 5.0 and open them directly but now I cannot read the files when clicking on the file from the web link.

When I click on the link a dialogue box comes up twice asking whether to download or open the pdf file. If I select open on each dialogue box that comes up, I get an error that it cannot find the file. I can download the file to my hard drive and open it.

Users with only 4.0 reader on their desktops can open it from the link fine.

I am going nuts trying to figure this problem out.

Help!!!!

Hi

Try uninstalling acrobat 5, then the acrobat reader 4 and reinstall acrobat 5. Derren

Before reinstalling, you should clean your registry from every instance of acrobat 5 and 4.
