Can someone let me know the secret to let an ordinary "user" login to Windows 2000 and use Pagemaker
6.5? We have loaded th program as Administrator. When we try to launch the program as any other user it gives us the error: "Cannot find Pagemakers registry settings". We are using the FAT32 file system, and have given the user "pwr. user " rights. Still get same error.
any advice is apprieciated.

Okay.. first do a complete uninstall of PM. Now give the new user Admin privileges, install PM under that user's login. Now change the privileges of that user so they do not have admin rights... but you can't limit all rights. That should help.

PM6.5 was never designed to run on W2K, hence PM7.0 which was designed for W2K. But the above fix should work. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
