Cannot Open Network Connections Folder

Good afternoon,

I have been searching and changing settings extensively. On my DC, I am installed a new GB NIC and need to configure the ip address. Unfortunately, when I double click the Network Dial-UP connections folder, I get "You do not have permission to open...."

1. I updated the GP and enforced a refresh - Fail!
2. Restarted server after update GP - Fail!
3. Tried using Third Party Server to change address - Fail!(Most likely cause cannot access connections/permissions)
4. I created a new OU and blocked policy inheritance on the OU. Moved administrator account to new OU/Logoff/Logon - Fail!

The only valid response I see on Google is through Experts-Exchange but I do not have an account or even want to open a new account.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cancel this thread. I installed Customizer XP which let me renable Network Connection folder. Thanks.
