cannot open excel file from network drive

Dear all,

I use office 2000 in NT platform, I can open local drive excel file but cannot open a network drive excel file, when I open the file just only a blank page display.I have checked I have the full control permission of the file.

I'll try the obvious first.
Does this happen with all Excel files on the network?
Are you sure that the file wasn't saved as a blank page in error? The one thing you can't buy is time. Yet!
