cannot open emails after installing office XP

Hi there

I have just installed office xp on my laptop that works great, but I cannot open my emails. Groupwise opens up so i can see the emails that have been sent but i cannnot view them. I can use the callender and post tasks. When i try to open my emails i get an error message novell client 32 has to close sorry for the inconveniance. However I can open my emails if i go through the internet explorer route.?

My guess is when Office XP was installed Outlook was also installed.

Outlook probably replaced the Windows Messaging files and are probably not compatible with GroupWise?

GroupWise should have it's own Windows Messaging but may not be able to install it with Windows Messaging from Office XP is installed. Check Microsoft's website on removing Windows Messaging Service.

Wew've also had success uninstalling and then reinstalling GW. We have learned to NOT install Outlook when installing any Office version!
