Hi,
I'm in the process of doing two new installs of a CS1000E co-res Rls 7.5. The equipment was staged and we could access both systems via element manager from the primary security server. We were using entries in the host files on the PC since were were not connected to the DNS servers as yet.

We have physically installed the systems on site. However, from the primary security server, we cannot get the element manager to load. We've restarted jboss with no luck.
We have added entries in the DNS and that still did not help.
I can access the base manager for each site.

Any ideas
Terry

Start simple, get a laptop directly connected to the front of the card on the ELAN with a cross over cable. Modify your host file on the laptop to resolve the name locally and see if it works.

You said you can get to Base Manager but can you get to UCM? When does it fail? After you get to UCM and then click on EM for that Call Server, is that when it fails?

I can log into the UCM. I can access the base manager from there. If I try to access the element manager from the element list in UCM Element Manager does not load.

I did try locally from the ELAN and still no luck.

So it worked in the lab and when you powered down to take it to the site and powered it back up now it doesn't work, right? Check the IP address to the right of the Element Manager link in UCM and make sure it is correct, it should be the ELAN of your CoRes Call Server which is the same ELAN address when you loaded the Linux.

I double checked the IP addresses and they are correct. I tried something different this morning. When I was clicking the link the Internet Explorer gave no feedback. I didn't even get a 404 error.

I tried using Firefox even though It's not supported. I did get back the following message

Web4015
Missing password in input xml file.
OVL0428
User authentication to CS1000 Call Server failed. 1. Check whether Radius is turn ON for Central Authentication.
2. Check the Username and password of CS1000 component for local authentication.

I can log into the call server using the admin account used for UCM vis putty.
I check the ucmsecurity status in ld 117 and central authentication is enabled.

Check the box to left of the Element Manager and click the edit tab. This will allow you to change the user name and password that Element Manager uses. Make sure it is correct or just change it and see if it works.

The problem had to be resolved. We had to resynchronize the sites from the IPSec tab on the main UCM page.
