Cannot open chrome if an Office 365 program is running

Hi All,
One of my users is having an issue where if she has excel or any other office program running and then tries to open Chrome chrome will not open. She then has to restart her machine then open chrome first then office. Has anyone heard of that before and have a way to fix.
