Cannot open 2 embedded Excel objects

Our office has just upgraded to Notes 6 and since the upgrade we cannot open 2 embedded Excel objects at the same time. Excel and notes freeze whenever the second document is launched. We are using Win2000 and Office 2000.

I have exhausted my ideas. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
