cannot mount /proc

Hi guys,

i rebooted the sun workstation and i got the following error messages:

The / file system ( /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0) is being checked
Configuring network interface :hme0
Hostname: a8610
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s1: Overlapping swap files are not allowed
Could not mount /proc

These message keeps on going on and on and the system does not boot up. What should i do ?

Looks like your swap files are out of whack. Have you been playing with them recently, and if so what did you do? This might give more for us to go on. Can you boot into single user from the cd? Cheers for now.
 
Also check whether you have any overlapping slices (except for slice 2, which should include the whole disk) in the partition table on c0t0d0. Annihilannic.
