Hello to all!
I have solaris 7/sparc machine.In command prompt scsi-probe recognizes the cdrom,and I am able to boot from cdrom(boot sd(0,6,2)
But after the operating system is booted,no mount is possible.Volume management is started automatically but does not find cdrom.Any ideas?

Thx

Did you create a mount point for the cdrom ?
Do you have an entry in /etc/vfstab for the cdrom ?
What error message are you getting when you try to mount the cdrom manually ?

the command 'volcheck' might help if the machine is not automatically detecting cdroms ... or you could just hard mount the device onto a specific place (as if automount didn't exist)

hmm ...
