Strange issue - have user who needs to go to other users' desktops and map to a share that exists on a win2k3 server (no sp1) using the "connect using a different user name" on winxp workstations - kicks back an error "network folder is currently mapped using a different username and password" then it says you need to disconnect the connection and try again - strange thing is we have a similiar win2k3 server that the person can use that function no problem - I can't see any local or domain group\security policy nor any differing ms patches that would be affecting this - any thought o' wise great community?
