Cannot lotus client because of outlook

I am trying to install the lotus notes modular messaging client but I cannot. I get the below error message.

Modular Messaging Client Add-in for Microsoft Outlook is installed on this system. Please uninstall the software to continue with the Setup.

I don't have outlook installed let alone the MM client. Does anyone have any ideas?
