I have a developer who is using Windows 7 and IIS7 as a development environment. He has a website with Windows Authentication that can be accessed remotely but if he tries to logon to the website from the Windows 7 computer authentication fails. He is prompted for his user name and password just as he is when logging remotely but the logon dialog box just keep popping up when logging on locally and he never is able to access the site. I have another developer with the same setup and website who can log on locally and remotely.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ed

What does the Server logs report when he tries to access ?

I would Imagine that if he is using Windows Authentication then it something to do with the domain the local PC is in ...

Maybe have a look here as there may be a few clues ;)
