Cannot login from console on Solaris

Hello,

I've got a problem. I cannot login to my Solaris from console. I've got login screen, I enter user & passwd, then machine works, works and shows again login screen.
I cannot also connect from remote computer via Exceed. The only possibility is text terminal.

What to fix it?

I'm working on Solaris 7.

only a guess..., CDE logins are disabled after creating "/etc/nologin" file, this is considered a bug and as been fixed in patch 107180.

Hello,

thanks for advice but it's not it.
All login was working fine and from one day to another it crashed. I cannot start the Xsession nor from console nor from remote connection.

How to resolve it?

Have you hashed out the 'console=/dev/console' in the
/etc/default/login file ?

Its just a guess.... the user's Home directory need's some attention i believe
