I have set up e jobs along with 2 Media sets. One Full and another differentail. I am using a 7 slot Adic tape loader. I have created 6 scratch tapes and assigned 1 to the Differential Media and another to the Full media. I have set the Append time to 6 days for the Differentail job and 7 days for the full job that runs only on Saterday. The problem is once the differentail append time is over for that weeks tape and a new week starts, it will not go to scratch media and pull out another tape. I have read the help documentaion and it stats that jobs that if you have the overwrite protection set to partial or full that scratch media will be used.
