cannot locate master terminal trying to recover

Hi First off thank you for this helpful forum.

Aloha version 6.77
Terminals: 3
OS: Windows 7

I'm having a problem on the POS which i'm trying to figured out and leave me clueless.
There was a power failure on the shop and POS1(as Master terminal) shut down unexpectedly, by default POS2 became master.

I want the master terminal back to POS1 so I shutdown POS2 and restart POS1, now its showing error message "cannot locate master terminal trying to recover".

Mapped drive from server is working.

at first load everything seems to be okay then after 5-10seconds the error appears.

here is your issue if you have not figured out already
"MasterDown: terminal 90 asserts it is master"

turn off your interface PC as well. In fact turn all off but term1. reboot term1 and it will become master.

Yes master was down that time, i have tried turning off all terminals except term1 and reboot it to make it as master nothing happen.

This was fixed when I changed the the value of "LastMasterID" from 90 to 1 both on term1 and on server.
terminated process IberQs.exe on server and run Ibercfg.bat on Term1 and everything went fine. the process IberQs.exe automatically started on the server

What I noticed that when I booted up the other terminals the system date advanced to the next day, so I manually changed it back to current date, booted one more time and the error went away.
I don't know how'd that happen, Just glad that it's okay now

Search every thread available here and it was a big help :D
