I have this problem :
This morning none of our users were able to log on to the NT domain
All of our servers are running TCP/IP
I've installed Netbeui, removed tcp/ip and reinstalled it, applied Service Pack
Now clients with Netbeui can log on.
But this is not what I want
I can ping all servers
I even have promoted a BDC to PDC, but still the same problem
WHen I restart the PDC I get in the event log-security this message just after logging on :
Event ID 644
User Account locked out
Target account name : <none>
Target Account ID : SYSTEM
When I check all users, no user is locked out !

Can anybody help me please ???

PS : I am NOT using WINS and NOT using LMHOSTS file
We are using DNS for name resolution and it still works perfectly... [sig][/sig]

Just a hint : Win 95 and Win NT client use only two methods at logon time to find their domain controller : Broadcast and WINS. No WINS in your case, so you rely on broadcast... Maybe you find it obvious, but it is not to be confused with the NetBIOS name resolution sequence used once logged it to say, map a network drive, which is Cache/WINS/Broadcast/LMHosts/DNS etc...
