For the past week, I have been getting an error when I try to log back on to my user profile. The error is
"cannot load locally stored profile: insufficient security rights or corrupt
local profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log
off."
When I log off, and try to log back on, same message once again. However, when I restart the computer or shut down, and then try to log back into my user profile, everything works fine. I would think that if it was corrupt, I would never be able to log back into it normally but I am.
Im using windows xp Pro, on our AD with admin priviledges and have all updates installed. I think I can just try to change the NTUSER.dat file but im not exactly sure.
Any advice on this?
