When trying to start Apache2 on Win32, I get the following error. "C:\php" is in the system Path. What can the problem be.

error:

httpd.exe: Syntax eror on line 389 of c:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/php/php5apache.dll into server: The specified module could not be found.

Starting with the basics: Do you have a C:\php\ folder on your computer? Does it contain a file named php5apache.dll? If so, does Apache have the appropriate permissions to read that file?

If it doesn't exist (which is what the error is saying), do a websearch for "php5apache.dll" and download it to your C:/php directory. Is this a new wamp install?

Thanks All,

The php5apache2_2.dll worked for me...!
