I have a problem with Outlook Express on Windows 2000 Professional:
cannot launch Outlook Express any more
What I did:
I had two Identities defined, and while I was replying some E-mail on one Identity, I tried to switch Identities before I closed the mail I was working on. Outlook Express crushed and I am not able to launch it since then.

If you believe you've damaged the program, then I'd suggest backing up all of your data then uninstall and reinstall Outlook Express. Specific instructions can be found in the KB article Q263837 - How to Manually Uninstall and Reinstall Outlook Express in Windows 2000 (Q263837)

If I login as a different User( I screwed it when I was logged as Administrator), I can launch Outlook Express, so i think the program is still intact

Ok, then back up any mail from the identity in question and rebuild the account.
