Cannot install policy

Dear all,
suddenly, my checkpoint ng doesnt allow me to save any changes made on GUI, it gives an error:

The changes could not be saved. Please make sure the Firewall1 services are up and running. For more information use the Status Manager application.

The status manager shows all services are running fine and the disks are not full yet.

Any clue?

I had that happen and I just ran fwstart from expert mode on SecurePlatform and it was fine after that. Or if you can just reboot the fw.
 
I saw this recently on a Provider-1 server when the number of policy files became large (i.e. over 90), by deleting many of the old files it resolved the problem.
