Hello - have a fresh install of Windows 2003 Standard running as a file
server - now need it to run IIS 6.0.
I went to Add/Remove Windows Components, and when installing IIS 6.0 - it
said it could not copy convlog.ex_ - ok - I'm blessed with 2 copies of the
correct CD, and have the i386 directory copied to the E: drive. No soap - if
I ignore, it gives the same schmeel for every file until it completes.
I can manually install the file - by copying and expanding to the right
directory no problem. I tried to install other Windows Components using
Add/Remove components and the same problem with all components.
I am thinking it's a security issue, even though I'm logged in as
Administrator on the local machine. No events are logging. The files that I
am trying to copy appear to already be where they are going to be placed.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
