Cannot install Acrobat Reader on a Windows 2000 machine

I have a Windows 2000 Professional machine that is trying to install Acrobat reader 4.05. When the user double-clicks on the icon she receives the following error: Error 432 setup has detected uninstallshield.

What causes this?

User is lacking proper permissions. Must be part of either the 'Power Users' group or 'Administrator' group
