I had to move an Aix workstation, so i did a shutdown, but now i cannot get it back up. I have set the domain name in NIS to where it should be, but when i do a reboot, the domain name is not saved. I also have to remount all my filesystems, even though they are set to automatically start up on system restart, and the remote ones cannot remount. I think the problem lies in the /etc directory, because the name of the master server is now even to be found in the /etc/hosts file. When i try and ping anything, even the workstation itself, nothing happens.
