Cannot get subforms to print with the rest of the form

Please help me before i go crazy!!
I have several forms and reports with subforms in them, but when I go to print the forms and reports, the subforms are not printed. The form and subform 'display when' properties are set to always on all the forms and subforms, but I feel like a complete idiot because they will not print.

Hi, I've got some spare time today. If you don't recieve an answer - if you would like to send along one of your reports with the subform problem and some sample data I'd be happy to look at it. Subform problems are usually easier for me to look at directly, rather than guessing at them.
