Hi,

We have an Asterisk system linked to our NEC IPS by ISDN. Everything is working fine except outside caller ID.
Outside caller ID is not transferred to our ISDN gateway. All I get is the voicemail port number transfering the call.
I have no clue of what could be the problem...

This is our setup:

Sorry but I don't think that is possible. However others may disagree, so over to them (I may learn something myself).

Outside calls enter the PRI and are forwarded to the AD-64. The AD-64 forwards the calls to PBX 1. PBX 1 then forwards it to PBX 3 which is connected to our ISDN gateway.
PBX 3 can see the outside caller ID fine but will only pass the voicemail port as caller ID.

Have you looked at CMD 8A5xxx>165? CID pass through.
08>709 send ANI to VM.
