Cannot get mobile devices to ActiveSync with Exch03

Ok, so we've been trying to get this working for a while. First we were testing with someone's phone, then I got the Pocket PC 2003 emulator and have been testing off of that.

It does communicate with the server and it never syncs, and we're constantly stuck at this error:

"Your account does not have permission to sync with your current settings. Contact your Microsoft Exchange administrator.

Error code: HTTP_403"

I've done absolutely everything I can find on how I'm supposed to fix this error, including this:

But it's gotten me no where. I'm still stuck at the same error when attempting to synchronize with the exchange server.

I'll ask the obvious - you've verified that the user account in question is enabled for this?

Can you get to the OMA and OWA sites without problems?

Yes, that was all working fine.

I just went through and deleted that exchange virtual directory that I created according to the link I did, including the registry key - then started over and did it all again...

And this time it worked. haha. Thanks for the help though.
