Cannot FTP - Dreamweaver closes when I try it

I am pretty sure that I have the settings for the ftp server information correct because I can see my files when I open the Files Window. But when I click to one of them to open a html file up or when I try to Save To Remote Server then Dreamweaver closes after several seconds and a error message of "The application Dreamweaver has unexpectedly quit." (I'm on a Mac).
Any ideas on how I can fix this situation? I am tired of using a ftp file transfer program to develop/update my website....

I'd contact macromedia and try and get some technical support, it sounds like a programm error

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
