I have an application written in paradox 45. I routinely run queries useing paradox 8. I recently tried to scroll through 1 of my tables and got half way through when I got the above listed error. When I look at the table with paradox 45 I have no problem. Any sugestions?

No, but typically problems encountered during a scroll are indicative of table corruption. I recommend a repair/rebuild. I have had similar (but not that error message) problems where 45 worked fine and 8 blew up. A repair/rebuild solved the problem.

I tried the repair/rebuild but then I couldn't view the forms that are used in the paradox 45 application so I had to restore the damaged file.
