Cannot find web server

Has anyone come across this problem. I have recently installed windows 2000 for my sins with SQL Server 7 Visual Basic Enterprise. When trying to open a new project in Visual Interdev 6 I get an error stating that my web server (made up from my network ID) e.g. 'Cannot find web server Can anyone help me please as I am going nuts.

Do not use the HTTP:// just use the server name. At least that is what my book says.

You have to install IIS from the &quot;add/remove programs&quot; in the control panel. Then in the Administrative Tools folder you will see the IIS Icon. The name of the server will be the name of the computer. You will see what the name is when you open IIS. Rob
