Cannot find the file Advpi32.dll 1

The problem is that I need the DLL-file for the function RegOpenKeyEx, but I don't have the file on my hard-disk.

The actual file name is "advapi32.dll" (Advanced Windows 32 Base API) . . . did you you mistype the name in your code? I'm hoping that you did and that is your only problem since that DLL is responsible for most resgistry actions (as well as several other essential windows functions) and without it, your computer's OS probably would not even start up. - Jeff Marler B-)
