Hello,
I've been trying to install windows 2000 and everytime I get the "cannot find ntosldr.exe" stuff after the first reboot. I installed it fine the day before on another computer. I've tried different cd's, different partitions, one partition, clean install, upgrade. Does anyone know anything obvious. I can give more info if anyone needs it.
Thanks,
gwgeller

Is there anything unusual about your set up? (Google on ntosldr.exe returns just one entry - someone having problems with SCSI & IDE?

I guess it could be my hard drive, it's a 9GB seagate medalist, I think ata33. I did install 2000 on a 2GB IBM deskstar in the same computer. Maybe that's it, I'll check with seagate.
Thanks.
