Cannot find Metric Studio?

First off, I'm baffled with all of this. Please excuse what may appear to be really dumb questions. I'm not a DB expert or a report writer, I'm just an admin doing an install of a report manager using Cognos8. One of the things installed is Cognos 8 BI Metric Modeling v 8.3 (Metric Designer) and the Metric Server (Metric Studio Only).

In the lovely setup instructions I'm told to open Metric Studio. No matter what I do, where I look, I CAN'T FIND IT!

Is this a hidden component within the framework manager, cognos connection...somewhere?

Hi,

If it's installed correctly Metric Studio should be available from the "Launch" menu from within Cognos Connection.
You must also be assigned the proper privileges to access it.
