cannot find internet belkin wireless router

i am having trouble getting a belkin f5d7230-4 wireless router connecting to the internet on a dsl connection using a comtrend ct-5071 modem what do i have to turn off to get the belkin to be able to accept the internet? i don't know what the ip address is to access the comtrend modem configuration page, can you help me there to please? all help is greatly appreciated.
