I have suddenly lost my handles on my objects. I need to be able to resize and rotate my objects and I am unable to as I cannot figure out how to get the handles to appear around the objects. I am sure that there is a simple answer to this problem, but I cannot seem to figure it out. Can someone please help me. Thanks in advance.

Cannot find handles...

If you're referring to the anchor points, or your selection in general, then you may have hit Ctrl-H. That would have hidden the selection, only showing you the object.
If you're referring to (and this is more likely the case) the bounding box with the little handles on the sides that look like hollow anchors), then Ctrl-Shift-B should bring it back.
