Cannot Find data Path

Here's a two part question.

I have been having trouble with one user's peachtree software on the computer. I have installed, re-installed, and re-re-installed the peachtree 2005 software on a computer for a network, and it continues to forget where the data file is located. I get the error message: Cannot find data path. What am I doing wrong here??

Just install it locally, c:\peachw or whatever the default is. Then, edit pcw120.ini and change the data path to whatever it should be.

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
